Maria Sakkari continued her unbeaten form at the WTA Finals by beating Tunisia's Ons Jabeur to reach the last four.

Greece's Sakkari beat Jabeur 6-2, 6-3 and is set to face either France's Caroline Garcia or Russian neutral Daria Kasatkina in the semis.

Meanwhile, Belarusian neutral Aryna Sabalenka benefited from Sakkari's victory and finished as runner-up in the Richey Group after she had defeated American Jessica Pegula 6-3, 7-5.

The seventh seed will be up against world number one and Tracy Austin Group winner Iga Świątek of Poland.

"I think I just have to keep doing what I’ve been doing," Sakkari said.

"I’m trusting myself.

"I’m just fearless on the court.

"I’m enjoying myself here.

"There’s no secret behind how I’m playing, it was about time to start playing good again.

"I’m just very happy that it’s actually happening here."

Garcia will play Kasatkina tomorrow while Świątek is scheduled to face American Coco Gauff on Sunday.

Sabalenka’s match against Świątek will be the sixth meeting between the pair, with the Pole winning the last four games, including the US Open semi-final.
