India claimed a one-two finish today in the mixed 10-metres air pistol standard SH1 final at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Châteauroux.

Rahul Jakhar claimed the top spot with a total of 367 points, beating his team-mate Rubina Francis, who scored 355.

Francis finished on the same total as France's Gaelle Edon but took the silver due to hitting a perfect target seven times to her opponent's four.

Kacper Pierzynski of Poland was fourth, followed by France's Romain Ramalingom Sellemoutou.

Jakhar helped India to the team gold too, being joined by Deepender Singh and Akash on a total of 1,047 points.

Silver went to the French trio of Edon, Ramalingom Sellemoutou and Melinda Hermant with 1,031; while Poland's Kacper Pierzynski, Slawomir Okoniewski and Szymon Sowinski were third with 956.

Jakhar and Singh were said to have visa issues getting into France, but were able to overcome them to take the gold.
