Poland's Barbara Moskal claimed the mixed air rifle visually-impaired prone title with a new world record today, with it being the highlight from day three of the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Châteauroux.

Moskal scored 247.8 to defeat Ager Solabarrieta Txakrtegi of Spain in the final round of shooting.

Her opponent finished with 243.2.

Grzegorz Klos, Moskal’s compatriot, took the bronze medal, while Switzerland’s Claudia Kunz-Inderkummen was fourth.

China had a one-two finish in the mixed 50-metre pistol SH1 final, with gold going to Yang Chao, who finished with 223.9 points.

Huang Xing was the silver medallist on 218.5.

Server Ibragimov of Uzbekistan completed the podium in third.

Finally, in the mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1 final, Israel’s Yuliya Chernoy took the gold medal with a score of 254.4, beating Britain’s Matt Skelhon in the final round, who finished with 253.9.

Radoslav Malenovsky of Slovakia took the bronze medal in front of Denmark’s Jan Winther.
