Defending champions Brazil and hosts Paraguay were among the winners on a day of lopsided victories at the Copa América de Futsal.

Paraguay moved top of Group B with a 4-0 thrashing of Bolivia - Hugo Martínez, Damián Mareco, Francisco Martínez and Vander Méndez scoring the goals.

Argentina went behind early on in the group's other match at Asunción's SND Arena, but fought back to topple Peru 4-1.

Argentina also had four separate scorers - Andrés Geraghty, Sebastian Corso, Maximiliano Rcscia and Constantino Vaporaki.

Paraguay's goal difference is one better than Argentina's, but both have six points from two games.

So too do Brazil, who beat Chile 4-2.

Uruguay emphatically beat Ecuador 6-0 as Brandon Diaz, Juan Custodio, Nicholas Ordoqui, Mathias Fernandez, José Cosentino and Agustín Sosa all scored.

Brazil are top of Group A on goals scored, with Colombia level on six points.

Uruguay and Ecuador both have three, with winless Chile bringing up the rear.

Tomorrow is a rest day.
