Twenty winners have been selected after more than 50,000 entries were submitted to a Chengdu 2021 video contest.

Organisers of next year's delayed FISU Summer World University Games launched the #USportChallenge competition last month, which encouraged people to share videos on sport and how it makes them feel better.

The top 10 videos were selected by the public and another 10 winners were picked by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and Chengdu 2021.

All of the winners will receive Chengdu 2021 tickets or merchandise.

It is claimed that 12 million votes were cast by the public and that all of the entries were watched a combined one billion times.

The winning entries can now be viewed on the Chengdu 2021 website here.

Special praise was reserved for FISU student ambassador Aupal Emmanuel, who entered a video despite limited access to equipment in Uganda.

In May, FISU confirmed new dates for Chengdu 2021 after the event was pushed into next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The action is now scheduled to take place between June 26 and July 7, with the dates avoiding the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.

Eighteen sports are on the programme for the Games, which will be the third in China after the Summer Universiades in Beijing and Shenzhen in 2001 and 2011.

The name Chengdu 2021 is being retained.
