The International Ski Federation's Freestyle World Cup is set to continue with a dual moguls double-header in Alpe d'Huez.

The French resort is set to host World Cups in the moguls and dual moguls disciplines.

Qualification begins tomorrow in the women's dual moguls and men's moguls, and continues on Friday (December 17) for the women's moguls.

The World Cups in the moguls discipline will be held on Friday, with men's dual moguls qualifying on Saturday (December 18) followed by the men's and women's World Cups.

Japan's Ikuma Horishima leads the men's overall moguls World Cup standings, finishing first in the individual and second in the dual event in Idre Fjall last weekend.

Canadian Olympic champion Mikaël Kingsbury won the first dual moguls event of the season in Sweden and is second overall with 232 points - eight behind Horishima.

The women's overall moguls World Cup leaderboard is topped by France's Perrine Laffont.

Last season's World Cup winner triumphed in the dual moguls opener at Idre Fjall, having placed second in the moguls.

Laffont has 230 points to her name.

Another Japanese skier in Rino Yanagimoto is just outside the podium on 165 after a second-place finish in the dual moguls.

The Moguls World Cup circuit will resume in the New Year after the Alpe d'Huez stop, with Mont-Tremblant in Canada hosting back-to-back moguls events on January 7 and 8.

Tazawako is scheduled to stage the next dual moguls World Cup on February 27.
