Russia’s Maxim Burov continued his dominance in the International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle Ski Aerials World Cup with a fourth straight victory in Ruka.

After winning the opening two events in the Finnish resort last week, Burov then claimed another weekend double at the same venue.

The three-time world champion registered a stunning score of 133.03 points - over three points more than he achieved in yesterday’s triumph as he saw off a strong challenge from Swiss duo Noe Roth and Pirmin Werner.

Roth came second with 128.51, marginally getting the better of Werner, who completed the podium with 128.50.

Meanwhile, in the women's event, Danielle Scott of Australia claimed her first women’s Aerials World Cup title since February as she overcame compatriot and reigning champion Laura Peel.

Scott’s superb performance saw her record a score of 102.93 as Peel had to settle for second spot with 99.37.

China’s Xu Mengtao backed up yesterday’s silver with another medal as she clinched bronze with 98.28.

Xu was also part of the Chinese team that made it two wins from two in the aerials team competition this season.

Sun Jiaxu, Qi Guangpu and Xu teamed up to register a combined total of 354.87 points.

The American team of Winter Vinecki, Christopher Lillis and Justin Schoenefeld came second with 315.66, while Anastasiya Novosad, Dmytro Kotovskyi and Oleksandr Abramenko steered Ukraine to third with 303.07.
