Slovenian Anže Lanišek made himself the fourth winner in four events in the 2021-2022 men's International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup, to win on the second day of finals at the Finnish resort of Ruka.

Lanišek narrowly held off season opener winner Karl Geiger of Germany for the gold medal with a total of 311.9 points, 1.6 in front of the silver medallist.

It is also his first World Cup gold medal of his career.

Markus Eisenbichler finished third for the second event in a row with 305.2.

Geiger's silver made it his third podium of the year to maintain his lead in the standings.

Marius Lindvik of Norway was fourth, in front of Slovenian brothers Cene and Peter Prevc in fifth and sixth.

Austrians Stefan Kraft and Manuel Fettner were seventh and eighth, and Germans Stephan Leyhe and Andreas Wellinger completed the top 10.
