Henrik von Eckermann capped off a year which has included an Olympic gold medal by winning the Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Prague.

The Swede, riding King Edward, was one of only two competitors to go clear in both rounds.

Von Eckermann's round-two time of 60.82sec was 1.66 quicker than Sergio Moya could muster.

The Spaniard, on Alamo, had to settle for second place.

Ben Maher from Britain, the individual Olympic champion, completed the top three aboard Explosion W.

Von Eckermann won a team jumping gold as part of the Swedish quartet at Tokyo 2020.

He also placed fourth in the individual event in Tokyo.

Another Swede, Peder Fredricson, was the overall Global Champions Tour champion this season but could only manage 12th place at the Super Grand Prix.
