Hat-tricks were scored by both Felizia Wikner Zienkiewicz and Emma Nordin, while doubles were added by Sara Hjalmarsson and Lina Ljungblom respectively.

Next up is France, who also remain undefeated in their group with a 3-1 win over Slovakia.

Estelle Duvin got the opener in the first period, with Gwendoline Gendarme adding the second in the second period.

Lore Baudrit got a third for France before Nicol Lucak Cupkova got one back for Slovakia.

Each group will qualify one team for Beijing 2022.

In Group C, played in Chomutov, hosts Czech Republic scored 16 goals past Poland to remain undefeated.

Noemi Neubauerova scored three and was joined on the scoresheet by Katerina Mrazova, Alena Mills and Klara Hymlarova, who all bagged doubles too.

Their next opponents will be Hungary, who defeated Norway 5-3 having mounted a comeback.

Regina Metzler gave the Hungarians the lead, but an equaliser from Madelen Haug Hansen and a double from Mathea Fischer were left unanswered as Norway took a 3-1 lead.

However, a late goal in the second from Fanni Gasparics and third period goals from Kinga Jokai-Szilagyi, Emma Kreisz and Mira Seregely put Hungary back in front and by two goals in the end.

Finally, in Group D, Denmark scored the only goal of the game to defeat Austria 1-0 in Füssen in Germany.

Maria Peters got the crucial shot away at the end of the second period to put her side in a promising position for the last round of games.

They next face hosts Germany, who bounced back from an opening day defeat to Austria to beat Italy 4-1.

Nicola Eisenschmid scored the opener in the first period, before Chelsea Furlani equalised in the second.

Shortly after, Lilli Welcke put Germany back in front, before Marie Delarbre and Katarina Jobst-Smith completed the scoring.
