Stephan Fox has been re-elected President of the Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS).

Fox, the general secretary of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations, secured a fresh four-year term unopposed at the virtual AIMS General Assembly.

He is set to lead the organisation, which aims to strengthen each of its member sports with a view towards getting them officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), through to 2025.

The German official has served as AIMS President since 2015.

"The success of AIMS has been the unity and our shared visions and respecting each other," said Fox.

"The strength of AIMS is in the solidarity and the principle of putting the athletes first.

"AIMS will continue under my leadership to promote the Olympic values of inclusion, non-discrimination, equality and sport for all."
