Lauriane Nolot finished consistently with 13th, 16th and 17th-place finishes overall to amass a total of 232 points.

She overtook compatriots Poema Newland and Jessie Kampman in the final few races, who struggled near the end to finish on 249 and 300 points respectively.

Kampman accumulated more than 100 points in the last three races, while Newland conceded 74.

"I can be happy with my performance," said Nolot.

"I did the job I came to do, I survived the conditions. 

"It's pretty good training for the Worlds as we had all conditions."

Austria's Alina Kornelli was the closest non-Frenchwoman, finishing on 321 points, and Italian Tiana Laporte was a point behind in fifth.

Axel Mazella had a slow end to his campaign but won with a net total of 30 points after a strong start.

In his last three races, the Frenchman finished fifth, sixth and 20th; but previously had six wins and 11 podium finishes from 17 races.

"I'm happy about winning this event, for sure," said Mazella.

"I'm pleased about my performance, too, but I know I have some things to work on again after this. 

"Because of the shifty winds, I didn't make good decisions, it was hard. 

"Winning takes me a step closer to the title, and this is the one where I earned big points in that quest."

His team-mate Theo De Ramecourt finished second, having notched up five wins himself for second with 42 points, and Britain's Connor Bainbridge held onto third with 47 points, despite not finishing in the top three in his last four races.

Russian Yachting Federation's Denis Taradin was fourth on 49, and Benoit Gomez of France completed the top five with 56 points.

Mazella and Newland top the men's and women's overall standings after three stages, with two more to go.
