Rosterfy, a volunteer and workforce software company, will provide the management systems to support the 13,000 volunteers required to deliver the Games. 

The software is responsible for managing the recruitment and interviewing of and assigning tasks to the volunteer workforce. 

Rosterfy has previously worked with the UEFA Euro 2000, the Super Bowl, and Dubai Expo 2020.

Birmingham 2022 will see around 4,500 athletes from 72 nations and territories compete in 19 sports. 

There will be 14 competition venues, with the Games held from July 28 to August 8 2022. 

It is expected to attract more than one million spectators to the city and have a global TV audience of 1.5 billion.

Rosterfy says its volunteer workforce software is a long-term solution that can be rolled out for years to come.

Gove added: "Time and time again, we continue to see large scale events create a robust volunteer programme only to let it dissolve once the event formally concludes, which isn’t sustainable.
