The French Judo Federation has rebranded as France Judo, with a new logo developed.

The new identity aims to provide a modern and simplistic design, French Judo says.

"Driven by the desire to give back to judo to those who bring it to life on a daily basis, the new identity of France Judo was built by the energy of the collective," France Judo said.

"Born from the consultation of more than 12,000 practitioners, clubs and federal employees, it pays tribute to the deep attachment and investment of all with regard to their discipline, the uniqueness of its model and the structuring force of its values of humility, respect and mutual aid.

"Projective and forward-looking, the new identity of France Judo signs the will of the federation to put the collective at the heart but also gain in modernity and simplicity.

"An identity that embodies the art of movement and celebrates the path of flexibility.

"More than ever, let's become one: we are the French Judo."

The logo is inspired by Klein Blue, a colour internationally recognised as being discovered by Yves Klein.

The Frenchman was considered an important post-war European artist.

Klein was also the first European to secure the fourth dan black belt rank and became technical director of the Spanish judo team.

France Judo has also signed an agreement with the French Jiu-Jitsu Confederation.

This will see Brazilian jiu-jitsu integrated into France Judo.
