The finalists of the recurve and compound mixed team events have been determined after the semi-finals on day two of the European Archery Championships in Antalya in Turkey.

In the compound mixed team semi-finals, Belgium's Sarah Prieels and Reginald Kools defeated Germany's Janine Meissner and Tim Krippendorf 157-154 to make the final.

The pair never lost their lead after going up by two at the end of the first end.

Despite the Germans creeping back in with a chance of making the final - just one point behind going into the final round - Prieels and Kools pulled away to make the final.

Joining them in the gold medal match is the Estonian siblings Lisell and Robin Jäätma who held their nerve to defeat Yesim Bostan and Yakup Yildiz of Turkey 154-153.

After taking a one-point lead, the Turkish pair equalised going into the final end.

However, the brother and sister pairing scored one more to seal their spot in the final.

Russia's Elena Osipova and Aldar Tsybikzhapov made the final of the recurve mixed team competition with a 6-2 victory over Poland's Magdalena Smialkowska and Kacper Sierakowski.

The Polish pair took a 2-0 lead after the first end, but the Russians replied by winning the rest of the ends.

Spain's Elia Canales and Pablo Acha will face them in the final following a 5-4 victory over Gulnaz Coskun and Mete Gazoz of Turkey in an extra end.

Both sides were level at 4-4 before the Spaniards won the shoot-off.
