Finals will be held in the women’s individual event, trios and aero step events on Friday (May 28), with qualification scheduled in the remaining disciplines.

Men’s individual, mixed pairs, groups and aero dance competitions will take place on Sunday.

Japan’s Saito Mizuki and Kitazume Riri will not defend their men’s and women’s world titles in Azerbaijan.

Hungary’s Daniel Bali will be among the contenders in the men’s competition, with the five-time medallist seeking a maiden world title.

He could face competition from Ivan Veloz of Mexico.

Anastasiia Ziubina, the 2018 silver medallist, will seek to earn the women’s individual world title.
