The International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) has launched its online education platform with an aim to spread knowledge and information about the sport.

The IFCPF Training Ground platform will give the organisation's resources to its members to help with the growth and development of cerebral palsy football.

Open access introductory courses, which are free of charge to all, are among the tools available.

These courses allow anyone from any country, organisation or sport to develop awareness of key topics in cerebral palsy football, Para-sport and able-bodied sport.

An education pathway is also part of the platform, which supports the development of coaches, match officials, classifiers, players and others involved in the sport.

Role-specific courses will be progressive to help individuals continue learning, the IFCPF said.

Tailored courses will look to accompany qualifications required by National Federations, giving additional knowledge to what members have already learned.

It is likely only those individuals who are able to meet entry criteria - such as through qualifications, expressive or an entry fee - will be able to access these courses.

Insight courses will also be available to provide individuals with the chance to further enhance their skills in specific areas.

The IFCPF education team has asked for feedback on the platform on how they further develop the resource in future.

All interested in accessing IFCPF Training Ground must create an account for the platform.
