Weather has continued to impact the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine Ski World Cup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with organisers rescheduling the second super-G competition to tomorrow.

Heavy fog at the German venue led to organisers postponing today’s race.

It is hoped competition will be able to take place tomorrow, offering skiers one final race prior to the Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The World Cup event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen had been due to begin with a downhill competition yesterday.

Weather conditions led to the cancellation of the downhill event, with a super-G competition held in its place.

Switzerland’s Lara Gut-Behrami earned a third consecutive super-G win yesterday.

The Swiss star will hope for further success tomorrow in the rescheduled second race.
