USA Bobsled and Skeleton (USABS) has announced Hyperice, a recovery and movement enhancement technology company, as an official supplier until October 2022.

The national governing body said Hyperice are a leader in athlete recovery technology.

They added that the company's products are a "synthesis of science and physiology to support and advance the human condition".

Andrew Ernst, the USABS high performance health care services provider, said the products could be tailored to meet each athlete's individual needs.

"Hyperice offers a wide array of products from heat, cold, compression and vibration," he said.

"This gives us the ability to tailor an athlete's recovery routine to their individual needs.

"Hyperice products are integral to our athletes' recovery and allows them the ability to perform their best day in and day out."

USABS said its athletes have been using recovery system products from Normatec for years.
