Reigning Olympic champion David Gleirscher of Austria finished second in 32.711, with compatriot Jonas Muller placing third on 32.714.

Austria enjoyed home success in the men’s doubles sprint with Thomas Steu and Lorenz Koller triumphing in 30.118, replicating their success yesterday.

Latvia’s Andris and Juris Sics were second on 30.209, followed by Italy’s Ludwig Rieder and Patrick Rastner on 30.220.

Germany were triumphant in the team relay competition, with Taubitz and Loch joined by the doubles pairing Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken.

The German team finished in 2:09.742.

Austria’s Muller, Madeleine Egle, Thomas Steu and Lorenz Koller were second on 2:09.772, with Russia’s Ekaterina Katnikova, Semen Pavlichenko, Vsevolod Kashkin and Konstantin Korshunov third on 2:09.863.
