Cali Condors built on their overnight lead to record a resounding victory in the fourth match of the International Swimming League (ISL) season in Budapest.

American Olivia Smoliga, a member of the winning women's 4x100 metres medley team at the Rio 2016 Olympics, was the day's standout performer.

She won all three races in the women's 50m backstroke skins contest and also won the 100m backstroke race.

Smoliga was one of three Condors swimmers in the race's four top-ranking athletes, along with fellow Americans Caeleb Dressel - who added four more top-three finishes today - and Beata Nelson.

Cali finished the event on 610.5 points, a stunning 192 more than second-place Iron.

New York Breakers had 394 points in third, with DC Trident stuck on 287.

Iron's Turkish swimmer Emre Sakçi won the men's 100m breaststroke and the 50m skins event.

He could not beat the time of 22.50sec he set in the 50m breaststroke yesterday - a new European record - but remained too quick even for Dressel.

The Condors are now in command of the overall standings, with a maximum of eight points from two matches.

Match five - featuring DC Trident, London Roar, Los Angeles Current and Tokyo Frog Kings - starts on Friday (October 30).
