Panpan Foods has been announced as the official packaged snack goods sponsor of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games after signing an agreement with the Organising Committee.

The deal was signed at a ceremony at Beijing 2022's headquarters, attended by vice-mayor of Beijing and executive vice-president of Beijing 2022 Zhang Jiangdong and Cai Jin'an, chairman of the Board of Panpan Foods.

"We expect Panpan Foods to provide the Beijing 2022 Games with high-quality, healthy and safe products," said Beijing 2022 secretary general Han Zirong.

Panpan Foods was established in 1996 in Jinjiang in the Fujian province.

"Panpan Foods takes innovation as its core competitiveness by applying first-class production lines and establishing a top-notch research and development expert team," said Cai.

As of October 21, Beijing 2022 has signed 25 corporate sponsors, including 10 official partners.

These are: Bank of China, Air China, Yili Group, ANTA, China Unicorn, Shougang Group, CNPC, Sinopec Group, State Grid and PICC Group.

A further 11 are official sponsors including beer companies Tsingtao and Yanjing and food manufacturer Yum China.

Eight are official exclusive suppliers including China Post and the chocolate bar Snickers, while six are official suppliers.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics are scheduled to run from February 4 to 20 2022, with the Paralympics due to follow from March 4 to 13.
