Electronic security company Telenot will continue as an official sponsor of the International Ski Federation (FIS) by backing selected Alpine Skiing and Ski Jumping World Cups.

A new agreement has been brokered by Infront to continue a relationship which has spanned the past two seasons.

Telenot will sponsor 22 Alpine Skiing World Cups and two Ski Jumping World Cups in all, across Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.

The deal covers a five-month period with the company's presence expanding after its involvement over the past two seasons.

Telenot's logo will feature at the start and finish area at a selection of competitions as well as on the course.

It will also appear on the start numbers of all athletes for five races and be included in print and online materials published by the FIS.

"In the span of two seasons, Telenot has established an impressive presence at the FIS Alpine and Ski Jumping World Cup events," said FIS marketing director Jürg Capol.

"We are very pleased to hear that they will continue their engagement for a third season and look forward to working with them again."

Thomas Taferner, the head of strategic sales and marketing, added: "Telenot’s presence at FIS events over the last two years has been consistently positive.

"We were able to significantly increase awareness of the Telenot brand and the number of hits on our homepage has increased thanks to this sponsorship.

"We are pleased to partner skiing again this year and to present our company and its important message nationwide with our new logo 'living smart and safe.'"
