Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ) has launched an official supporters' club - the Kiwi Crew.
Billed as offering fans a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at New Zealand's preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and beyond, those who sign up to the Kiwi Crew for free can expect member-only email newsletters, access to merchandise and offers from PNZ and its partners.
There will also be some content made available only to Kiwi Crew members.
"We are thrilled to have launched the Kiwi Crew to New Zealand Para sport fans," PNZ chief executive Fiona Allan said.
"The support of the New Zealand public is one of the main drivers for our Para athletes to train hard each day, it makes them so proud to represent the country that they love.
"We want to strengthen the relationship between our Para athletes and the New Zealand public, we want to help everyone enjoy Paralympic sport to its fullest.
"We hope that Kiwis across our proud sporting nation will support Para sport and sign up to join our crew."
PNZ stated that a motivating factor in the establishment of the supporters' club was to show Paralympic athletes how appreciated they are.
New Zealand came 13th in the Rio 2016 Paralympic medals table, winning nine golds and 21 in total.
The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics are due to run from August 24 to September 5 next year.
