Around 650 people attended the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee's (SOSC) Sport Revolution conference, which was held online.

The event is the largest sports conference in Slovakia and had its inaugural edition last year.

A number of topics were covered as the event was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This included the re-arrangement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics to next year, new challenges for the sports movement and marketing.

Thirty-five speakers addressed the conference, including Slovakia's International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Danka Barteková, the shooter who is the vice-chair of the IOC's Athletes' Commission.

SOSC President Anton Siekel and International Basketball Federation Hall of Fame member Natália Hejková were among other Slovak speakers.

They were joined by Toshio Tsurunaga, the IOC's head of NOC Games services, and Canadian National Hockey League ice hockey player Brent Seabrook.

Slovakia has won 12 Olympic gold medals since making its debut at the 1994 Winter Games, following the split of Czechoslovakia.
