World Para Sports has announced a partnership with mindset coaching company InnerDrive.

InnerDrive works in education, business and sport.

It claims to specialise in realising the potential behind growth mindset, metacognition and stress-management strategies, and aims to improve motivation, learning, confidence and performance.

The new agreement is set to offer the World Para Sports volunteer workforce and membership the chance to enhance their knowledge and skills and continue their personal development.

World Para Sports volunteers, National Paralympic Committees and member federations can receive a 10 per cent discount for InnerDrive workshops and services.

"World Para Sports aims to offer opportunities to continuing professional development for our volunteer workforce and members," said Michael Collins, sports volunteer workforce professional development manager.

World Para Sports is the organisation responsible for the 10 sports for which the International Paralympic Committee acts as the International Federation.

These are Alpine skiing, athletics, biathlon, cross-country skiing, dance sport, ice hockey, powerlifting, shooting, snowboard and swimming and shooting.

InnerDrive has past links with Paralympic sport.

"We have worked with athletes who competed at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, so the Para sports are close to my heart," InnerDrive director Bradley Busch said.
