boccia_medals_korea_02-09-11September 2 - The director of South Korean Boccia, Lee Sang Jong, revealed that he is hoping for more success at next year's London Paralympic Games after his squad dominated proceedings at the Boccia World Cup in Belfast.

"This is the best performance at the Games, we didn't expect this and so many gold medals, luckily we got three," said Jong.

Jong also said that he was hoping and expecting more medals at London 2012, and lavished praise on his squad, saying, "I am very happy because the team won and I'm very proud of the members of the team."

South Korea dominated in the BC3 category, with Ho Won Jeong taking gold against compatriot Ye Jin Choi, while Han Soo Kim ensured it was a clean sweep of all the medals with an 8-2 win over Grigorios Polychronidis of Greece.

Kwang Min Ji defeated China's Qi Zhang in the bronze medal match of the BC1 category to make it two golds in the individual competitions.

South Korea also swept to glory in the team competition earlier in the week, beating Japan 8-1 in the final after a run to the final, which included a closely fought win over Britain in the semi finals.
