Goalball UK has confirmed that there will be no National League table for 2019-2020 after the remainder of the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The decision has been confirmed by the organisation's Competitions Committee who deliberated over how to complete league and goalscorer standings for the campaign.

It has also been decided to crown Fen Tigers as the champions of the Elite League after two rounds of tournaments were completed.

"Because the [National League] season was disrupted with regions and competitions at different stages, not all clubs have been able to choose to enter an equal number of competitions," a statement said.

"Therefore, no National League table will be compiled for this season and no national champions will be declared.

"The Elite season was disrupted, but as with the North and South West regions, two rounds of tournaments had been completed, and teams had the opportunity to enter.

"Therefore the Elite League table and goal scoring statistics will be compiled on the basis of these completed tournaments."
