French athletes, two of them Olympic medallists, have discussed life under current lockdown rules in live broadcasts on the Paris 2024 Facebook page.

Martin Fourcade, Sarah Ourahmoune and Armel Le Cléac'h have all answered questions and given an insight into their current situations.

Sailor Le Cléac'h, the reigning Vendée Globe champion, was in a unique position as he was able to compare the situation at present to circumnavigating the world on his own.

In the 2016-17 edition of the race, Le Cléac'h completed his voyage in 74 days 3 hours 35min 46sec - a new world record, but still a long period to be alone.

Boxer Ourahmoune, who is now retired, won an Olympic silver medal at flyweight at Rio 2016, with the final being her last fight

Ourahmoune was the light-flyweight world champion in 2008.

As part of her broadcast, Ourahmoune shared a home fitness routine with viewers.

Those two broadcasts were promoted with the hashtag "#BougezChezVous" - move at home.

Last week, five-time Olympic champion Fourcade answered questions from fans and elaborated on how he was living under France's strict lockdown rules.

Having retired earlier this year, Fourcade is the Paris 2024 Athletes' Commission President.

There have been more than 6,500 COVID-19 deaths in France since the pandemic began and people have been asked not leave their homes for non-essential travel.
