The World Para Athletics European Championships in Bydgoszcz in Poland have been postponed in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was originally scheduled for June 2 to 7.
The Organising Committee and World Para Athletics agreed to the postponement after consulting with Polish authorities and the World Health Organization.
There is still hope that the event can be rescheduled later in the calendar year, with stakeholders to discuss the best possible dates.

The city of Bydgoszcz is due to host the seventh edition of the European Championships, with more than 600 athletes expected to compete at the Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium.
At the 2018 edition, held in German capital Berlin, Poland won 26 gold medals - more than any other nation.
There have been more than 556,000 confirmed coronavirus cases to date, with more than 25,200 people dying as a result.
