The clinic ran for two days in Khanty-Mansiysk ©IOF

The International Orienteering Federation (IOF) held a ski orienteering clinic for people from across Russia in conjunction with the SkiO World Cup Final and the European SkiO Championship taking place in Khanty-Mansiysk.

There were 23 participants, as well as translators and SkiO commission members.

The clinic lasted 11 hours on day one, with the focus on the IOF structure, SkiO strategic direction and the revision of SkiO rules.

On day two, participants discussed what makes a successful event and what is expected in the organisation of international events.

Outdoors, there was fieldwork and an assessment of the running of the competitions taking place.

Roland Hellberg conducted the clinic in English, with Hellberg's words translated into Russian.

All clinic participants received a certificate for being involved.
