Cuba will have Greco-Roman wrestlers in every weight category at Tokyo 2020 after securing maximum quota spots at the Pan-American Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in the Canadian capital of Ottawa.

Already holding spots in the 67-kilogram and the 130kg categories due to strong performances at last year's World Championships, Cuba still had four spots to confirm at the competition, with the the final two wrestlers winning Olympic berths for their nation.

Luis Orta defeated Colombian and Venezuelan wrestlers on his way to the 60kg final, where he defeated the United States' Ildar Hafizov 7-0.

Hafizov gave the US the other Tokyo 2020 spot in the weight category at Shaw Centre.

Cuba and Mexico sealed Olympic spots in the 77kg, with Yosvanys Peña defeating Mexican José Andrés Vargas 8-0 in the final, having earlier ended American Pat Smith's hopes in the semi-finals.

American Joe Rau won via walkover against Cuban Daniel Grégorich due to an injury preventing the 87kg final from taking place - but both nations sealed Tokyo 2020 spots.

Gabriel Rosillo secured the final berth for Cuba after making the 97kg final where he defeated G'Angelo Hancock of the US 11-8.

Meanwhile, in the 67kg category, Julián Horta gave Colombia their only quota spot of the day, winning the final 4-0 against American Alejandro Sancho.

In the 130kg contest, Chile's Yasmani Acosta defeated Brazil's Eduard Soghomonyan 9-0 as both nations won their only quota berth on day one - with the men's and women's freestyle events still to come.
