Holders Sweden maintained their unbeaten record at the Women's Bandy World Championship in Oslo as the line-up for the semi-finals was confirmed today.

The defending champions beat the United States 8-0 at Voldsløkka Stadion before defeating Norway 11-1 at Frogner Stadion to make it a perfect four wins out of four in Group A.

Awaiting them in tomorrow's semi-finals are Finland, who finished fourth in the table.

Finland lost 3-1 to Russia before overcoming the United States 3-2.

The other semi-final pits runners-up Russia against third-placed hosts Norway.

Russia followed up their win over Finland by beating Norway 2-0.

The US, who finished bottom of Group A, are scheduled to meet Group B winners Japan in the fifth-place playoff tomorrow.

Japan completed an unbeaten campaign in the three-team Group B today, defeating Switzerland 3-0 and Estonia 7-6 at the Bergbanen venue.

Runners-up Estonia and third-placed Switzerland, who have lost all their matches thus far, are due to contest the seventh-place playoff tomorrow.

Estonia overcame Switzerland 7-2 today.
