Park City is set to play host to the fourth International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation women's monobob event of the season this weekend.

Competition is due to take place tomorrow and on Sunday (February 16) in Utah.

It follows races held in Lake Placid, Lillehammer and Königssee towards the back end of last year.

Last time out in Königssee in Germany, China's Ying Qing and Australia's Breeana Walker could not be separated at the head of the field.

Canada's Melissa Lotholz, a Pyeongchang 2018 Olympian, finished third.

Russia's Anastasiia Makarova won in Lillehammer in Norway and Canada's Cynthia Appiah was quickest in Lake Placid in the United States.

A further two women's monobob events are scheduled to take place this season.

La Plagne in France will stage a leg on March 7 and 8 before the campaign concludes in Lake Placid on April 3.

The discipline will make its debut on the Winter Olympic Games programme at Beijing 2022.
