Chiara Hölzl will look to keep hold of the International Ski Federation Women's Ski Jumping World Cup lead on her home hill in Hinzenbach this weekend.

The Austrian snatched top spot from Maren Lundby after claiming victories on consecutive days at the circuit's last stop in Oberstdorf in Germany.

She has a 15-point lead over the Norwegian and will be looking to increase that gap in front of her home fans.

Lundby led the standings from the start of the season but Hölzl leapfrogged her after winning in Râșnov on January 25.

On that occasion, her time at the summit lasted 24 hours as Lundby won the second competition at the Romanian hill to reclaim the lead.

Hölzl, who has two World Championship silver medals, has won four World Cup legs this season.

Lundby is the reigning Olympic, world and World Cup champion and has triumphed three times.

There are 100 points on offer for a World Cup victory with Hölzl currently on 830 and Lundby on 815.

Austria's Eva Pinkelnig has won three events this term and is third overall on 719.

Action begins tomorrow at the Aigner-Schanze hill with qualification.

Two competitions will then be held consecutively over the next two days.
