Among the country's quartet of winners was Ilia Borok, who beat compatriot Denis Belov to the men's under-85 kilograms title at Mubadala Arena in the United Arab Emirates city.

Greece's Christos Zygouras and Montenegro's Arso Milic were the bronze medallists.

There were also Russian triumphs for Artem Petrukhin in the men's over-94kg, Oxana Moskalenko in the women's under-48kg and Alla Paderina in the women's over-70kg.

The runner-up to Petrukhin was Montenegro's Dejan Vukcevic, while Moskalenko and Paderina prevailed ahead of France's Morgane Houx and The Netherlands' Charella Westra, respectively.

Rounding off the men's over-94kg podium were Germany's Rado Mollenhauer and Simon Roiger.

The women's under-48kg bronze medals went to France's Sandra Badie and Colombia's Lina Katherine Guzman and those in the women's over-70kg went to France's Eva Bisseni and Croatia's Nadina Biljanovic.

France were the only other nation to claim multiple gold medals today in the fighting divisions, thanks to success for Estelle Gaspard in the women's under-52kg and Juliana Ferreira in the women's under-63kg.

There were also winning performances from Thailand's Kanjutha Phattaraboonsorn in the women's under-45kg, Belgium's Licai Pourtois in the women's under-57kg, The Netherlands' Aafke van Leeuwen in the women's under-70kg, Sweden’s Fredrik Widgren in the men's under-77kg and Colombia’s Junior David Cabezas in the men's under-94kg.

There were a further three victories for Thailand in the show men, show women and show women R2 events.

The duo mixed title was won by Belgium.
