Egypt's Raneem El Welily and Ali Farag have maintained their positions at the top of the women's and men's Professional Squash Association world rankings, respectively, for September.

El Welily, who won the PSA World Tour Finals title for the first time in June, leads the women's standings for the 10th successive month.

The 30-year-old heads an unchanged top 20 ahead of compatriot Nour El Sherbini in second.

Camille Serme of France is third, with two other Egyptian players, Nouran Gohar and Nour El Tayeb, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Dutchwoman Elena Wagenmans was the biggest mover on the women's rankings as she rose 72 places to 213 after reaching the quarter-finals of the South Australian Open.

Reigning world champion Farag held on to the men's world number one spot for the seventh consecutive month.

The 27-year-old also leads an unchanged top 20 from August.

The top four spots on the list are held by Egyptians, with Mohamed El Shorbagy in second, Tarek Momen in third and Karim Abdel Gawad fourth.

Germany's Simon Rösner occupies fifth place.

India's Yash Fadte was the highest mover as he leapt 223 ranking spots to world number 337.
