Russia and Italy will meet in the first all-European final of the International Volleyball Federation Boys' Under-19 World Championship since 2011, after cruising through their semi-finals in Tunisia.

Russia recorded a commanding 25-21, 25-18, 27-25 victory against Argentina, as they set up their second successive World Championship final, at the Salle Polyvalente Radès.

In Riffa two years ago, Russia lost the final 3-1 to Iran.

Italy await, thanks to a 25-18, 25-16, 25-17 triumph against Egypt.

It represents a first World Championship final for the Italians since they won the title in 2007.

Argentina, runners up in 2015, and Egypt will face off for bronze.

Bardia Saadat scored 25 points as Iran swept aside Bulgaria 25-22, 25-22, 25-15 to set up an All-Asian battle with Japan for fifth place.

Japan defeated Belarus 25-27, 25-18, 25-18, 33-31, with Daiki Yamada scoring a tournament-high 39 points, so Belarus and Bulgaria will now contest seventh place.

Brazil take on Czech Republic for ninth position after winning 26-24, 25-19, 25-20 against Cuba.

The Czech Republic edged a five-set match against South Korea 31-29, 22-25, 25-18, 19-25, 16-14 as Jiří Mikulenka bagged 37 points.
