Russian Morozov, who leads the men's overall standings, set a World Cup record when winning the men's 50 metres freestyle at the OCBC Aquatic Centre yesterday.

He followed up by breaking his own World Cup records in the 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle races today.

The 27-year-old multiple short course world champion clocked 24.40sec for gold in the 50m backstroke as American Michael Andrew finished second in 24.66.

The bronze went to Tristan Jason Hollard of Australia in 25.80.

Morozov set a World Cup record of 47.88 to win the 100m freestyle title and clinch his second gold of the day.

Szebasztián Szabó of Hungary was second in 48.53 and Santo Condorelli claimed bronze in 48.72.

Six of the 12 finals on the second day were won by Australians, with Holly Barratt claiming gold in the women's 50m butterfly ahead of team mate and women's overall series leader Cate Campbell.

Barratt led an Australian one-two in 25.31 as Campbell took second in 25.49.

Jeanette Ottesen of Denmark finished third in 25.92.

Emily Seebohm held off Hungarian Katinka Hosszú by just 0.05 to win 100m backstroke gold for Australia in 59.43 as Hoi Shun Stephanie of Hong Kong took bronze in 1min 00.22sec.

The men's 200m medley was won by Mitchell Larkin in 1:57.43, with Danas Rapšys of Lithuania collecting silver in 1:59.14.

Larkin's team mate Thomas Fraser-Holmes completed the podium in 1:59.98.

The duo joined Seebohm and Campbell to win the mixed 100m freestyle relay in 3:26.45.

Singapore claimed a first medal of the meet as they finished second in 3:31.53 and China took third in 3:32.64.

Grant Irvine led an Australian one-two by taking the men's 200m butterfly honours in 1:56.77, ahead of compatriot Nic Brown.

Brown clocked 1:57.20 and Thailand's Navaphat Wongcharoen finished third in 2:00.44.

Long distance swimmer Ben Roberts earned a sixth Australian gold on the second day with victory in the men's 1,500m freestyle race.

He stormed clear to win in 15:21.58 as Henning Bennet Muhlleitner of Germany took second almost 14 seconds behind in 15:35.06.

Club swimmer Owen Ngan was third in 16:33.03.

The FINA World Cup leg in Singapore concludes with 12 finals tomorrow.
