The delegation that will represent hosts Peru at the 2019 Parapan American Games in Lima have attended an official induction ceremony.

The multi-sport event is due to start in a week's time, with competition taking place from August 23 to September 1.

"They are the Para-athletes that will represent us and make Peru proud," Lima 2019 said in a post on Twitter.

"We are proud of each and every one of you."

Prices start at PENS/10 (£2.42/$2.95/€2.66).

There will be 50 per cent off for anyone under the age of 18, senior citizens and people with an impairment.
