
Brazil's boys' team beat South Korea today to make it three wins out of four at the International Blind Sports Federation Goalball Youth World Championships in Penrith.
The 6-4 victory at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre moves the South Americans onto nine points.
Joining them on nine points are Sweden and Thailand.
Sweden lost 12-8 to Poland before defeating hosts Australia 17-7, while Thailand overcame Poland 11-7 in their sole outing.
In the girls' event, Brazil remain undefeated having beaten Germany 7-1 and Great Britain 7-3 in their third and fourth games, respectively.
Australia continued their recovery from two opening-day losses by downing South Korea 4-2, while Germany picked up their first victory by defeating winless Thailand 5-1.
Round-robin action is due to conclude tomorrow.
The top four teams in the two tournaments will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled to be held on Friday (August 9) and immediately followed by the medal matches.
