Indonesia's Komet Akbar enjoyed team success in class 10 ©ITTF

Indonesia collected three team titles on the final day of action at the International Table Tennis Federation Asian Para Championships in Taichung in Chinese Taipei.

Class 10 top seeds Komet Akbar and David Jacobs grabbed a 2-1 win over China’s Lian Hao – a Rio 2016 gold medallist – and Mao Shubo at John Paul II Stadium.

Lola Amalia and Ana Widyasari emerged victorious in the women’s class 11, a group event.

They finished ahead of Hong Kong’s Ng Mui Wui and Wong Ka Man, the number two seeds, with Japan’s Kanami Furukawa and Sayuri Mio, the top seeds, having to settle for third.

An Indonesian team treble was completed by Tatok Hardiyanto and Agus Sutanto in the men’s class five.

They recorded a 2-1 win in the final against the top-seeded Cao Ningning – a Rio 2016 champion – Liu Fu and Zhan Dashun of China.

In the women’s class 10, a group event, Chinese Taipei’s Tian Shiau-wen and Lin Tzu-yu finished ahead of Hou Chunxiao, Fan Lei and Zhao Xiaojin of China.

The men’s class six-seven saw North Korea’s Jon Ju-hyon and Kim Yong-rok record a 2-0 win in the title decider against China’s Liao Keli and Yan Shuo.

South Korea’s Kim Young-gun and Lee Kyeong-hun sunk Thailand’s Wanchai Chaiwut and Niyom Nachai 2-0 in the final of the men’s team class four.

China, who have enjoyed a hugely fruitful tournament, took victory in the men’s class three through Feng Panfeng, Zhai Xiang and Zhao Ping.

Peng Weinan and Zhao Shuai emerged the class eight champions, as did Han Yajie and Zhao Yi Qing in class nine.

In the women’s events, Gu Xiaodan and Zhang Maio combined to win class four, while Huang Wenjuan, Mao Jingdian and Wang Rui joined forces to reserve the class eight title.

In class nine, Liu Meng and Xiong Guiyan struck gold.

South Korea’s Cha So-yong, Joo Young-dae and Park Jin-cheol justified their top-seeded position to win men’s class one-two.

Their compatriots Jang Eun-bong, Kim Seong-ok and Lee Kun-woo emerged the women’s class six-seven victors.
