Egypt extended to four wins from four their run at the Men's Junior World Handball Championship in Spain thanks to a thrilling triumph over South Korea.

The African side, bound firmly for the last 16, prevailed 38-36 in a blockbuster Group B clash at Complejo Deportivo de As Traversas in Vigo.

France, who had also already qualified, lost 27-23 to Sweden, while in the battle of the bottom two, Nigeria defeated Australia 35-21.

In Group D, Germany, Iceland, Denmark and Norway are through with a game to spare.

The table-topping Germans beat Norway 29-20 at Pavillón Municipal de Deportes in Pontevedra.

Iceland edged past Denmark 25-22 and Chile overcame Argentina by the same scoreline.

Action continues tomorrow with games in Group A and Group C taking place.
