Netherlands continued their flying form in Group B at the Women's European Lacrosse Championship in Israeli city Netanya with an emphatic victory over Italy.

The Dutch hammered their opponents 19-6 at Tubruq Field and lead the way in the standings with three victories out of three.

The top team in the group progresses to the quarter-final phase.

Netherlands are yet to meet Norway, who are the only other team in Group B with an unblemished record.

The Norwegians grabbed their second win in as many games courtesy of a 9-7 victory over Latvia.

In Group A, the top two go straight through to the semi-finals and the teams which finish third and fourth progress to the quarter-finals.

Hosts Israel boosted their hopes of heading direct to the last four thanks to a 12-10 victory over Ireland.

Scotland crushed bottom side Germany 16-6.

In Group C, where the top side reaches the quarter-finals, Spain edged out Finland 11-10.
