Egypt's Nour El Sherbini will meet Nour El Tayeb in a repeat of the women's final at this year's World Championships in the group stage of the Professional Squash Association World Tour Finals in Egypt.

The tournament, due to begin  tomorrow at Cairo’s Mall of Arabia, brings together the top eight men's and women's players on the World Tour leaderboard.

World champion El Sherbini, aiming to defend her World Tour Finals title, has been drawn alongside El Tayeb, Egypt's Nouran Gohar and England's Sarah-Jane Perry in Group B.

Group A features Egypt's Raneem El Welily, who finished top on the World Tour standings, Camille Serme of France, New Zealand's Joelle King and Tesni Evans if Wales.

In the men's tournament, Ali Farag of Egypt, the world number one and world champion, headlines Group A.

Last year's runner-up will go up against Black Ball Open winner Karim Abdel Gawad, New Zealand’s Paul Coll and world number seven Mohamed Abouelghar as he bids to add another title to his impressive collection this season.

Farag will compete on home soil in the Egyptian capital having won the World Championships, J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, Qatar Classic and El Gouna International on his way to claiming top spot on the World Tour rankings this season.

Group B includes world number two and defending champion Mohamed Elshorbagy of Egypt, World Championships runner-up Tarek Momen, Germany’s Simon Rösner and Peru’s Diego Elias.

The group stage will run from tomorrow to Wednesday (June 12), before semi-finals are due to take place on Thursday (June 13).

Finals are scheduled to be held on Friday (June 14).
