Olympic champion Park Sang-young claimed another major victory as he beat Russian Nikita Glazkov to win the Men's Épée World Cup in Paris.

Park, a double World Championships team silver medallist, overcame Glazkov 15-13 in the final at Stade Pierre de Coubertin.

The South Korean star had defeated Hungarian Siklósi Gergely by the same scoreline to reach the gold medal bout.

Glazkov set up a meeting with Park after he ousted Gergely's compatriot Mate Tomas Koch 15-14.

Koch had ended the challenge of top seed and world champion Yannick Borel in the last 32.

The two Hungarian fencers finished the event with a bronze medal apiece.
