Three-time world gold medallist Arina Averina of Russia topped the senior individual hoop and ball qualification rankings on day two of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Baku.
The 20-year-old managed 22.300 points in the hoop and 22.750 in the ball at the National Gymnastics Arena in Azerbaijan's capital.
Bulgaria's Boryana Kaleyn was the runner-up in both categories with points totals of 21.650 and 22.100, respectively.
Third place in the ball went to another Bulgarian, Katrin Taseva, with 21.600 points.
Completing the top three in the hoop was Belarus' Katsiaryna Halkina with 21.400 points.
The five other qualifiers for the hoop final are Belarus' Anastasiia Salos, Israel's Nicol Zelikman, Ukraine's Vlada Nikolchenko, Bulgaria's Neviana Vladinova and Azerbaijan's Zohra Aghamirova.
Joining Averina, Kaleyn and Taseva in the ball final are Zelikman, Halkina, Russia's Aleksandra Soldatova, Belarus' Alina Harnasko and Italy's Milena Baldassarri.
Both finals are due to be held on Sunday (May 19).
Tomorrow, the senior individuals will compete with clubs and ribbon.
The junior groups will also present their exercise with five ribbons.
