Indian Para-taekwondo athlete Chandeep Singh Sudan has visited the university in his home city of Jammu to deliver a inspirational talk to students.

As reported by Excelsior Sports, Sudan shared his experience of setting two world records and winning two gold medals at the fourth edition of the Asian Para Open Taekwondo Championships.

He advised the students not to lose hope under any circumstances and encouraged them to have strong will power.

Sudan was speaking as part of at an interactive session organised by Equal Opportunity Cell of the Central University of Jammu (CUJ).

He also suggested the students use technology for their own benefits, so that they can contribute to the nation of India.

Professor Ashok Aima, the vice-chancellor of the CUJ, inaugurated the session and praised the positive attitude of Sudan.

The Para-taekwondo athlete lost both his hands at the age of 11 and writes with his feet.

The event started with the screening of a documentary on the journey of Sudan.
