Mansour Al Rashedi from Kuwait won his first International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup gold medal today as he won the skeet men’s final at the second in this season’s series at Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Rashedi successfully shot 56 targets to finish atop of the podium, having hit 123 out of 125 targets in the qualification at the Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.

Denmark’s Jesper Hansen took the silver medal with 54 targets, having hit 122 targets to proceed to the final after a four man shoot-off for one place.

Luke Peter Argiro from Australia, who shot a perfect 125 out of 125 targets and equalled the qualification world record, finished with the bronze after hitting 42 targets in the final, which brought the 2019 Shotgun World Cup to a close.

In the overall medal standings, first place went to the United States with two medals, including one gold.

Second place went to Germany with a gold and bronze with Croatia, France and Kuwait sharing third place with a gold each.
