He Jiting and Du Yue battled to a 21-10, 20-22, 21-14 win over Tang Chun Man and Ng Tsz Yau in the mixed doubles to put China in front.

Lu Guangzu then eased to a 21-18, 21-9 triumph in the men’s singles against Lee Cheuk Yiu.

China’s place in the final was assured when Han Chengkai and Zhou Haodong battled from a game down to beat Chang Tak Ching and Yeung Ming Nok.

The final is due to take place tomorrow.

Play will also continue at the Badminton World Federation Orléans Masters, a World Tour Super 100 tournament in France.

He suffered a 21-19, 23-21 loss to France’s Thomas Rouxel in the men’s semi-finals.

Rouxel will face Koki Watanabe in the final, after the Japanese player beat Chinese qualifier Li Shifeng 21-16, 21-19.

Top seed Kirsty Gilmour of Scotland beat Turkey’s Neslihan Yiğit 23-25, 21-17, 21-16 in the women’s draw.
